Educational Philosophy-in-Brief

Education is your student/child’s ticket to the rest of his or her life, and it needs to be first class.  Every effort must be made to address the best way a child learns and to design strategies that will help the student optimize her or his ability to attain instruction.

An important point:  Education is not really about performance on standardized tests; it is about cultivating learning.  Although these tests are clearly part of the game plan these days, as parents and educators, we must continue to strive to keep alive a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

With a learning-friendly environment and with a teacher who believes that learning should be a meaningful experience, children should be encouraged to enjoy learning. Helping them learn to relate the choices they make to how those choices influence their thinking, actions, happiness, and even physical well-being gives them a life skill that is foundational to their future as students as well as healthy, responsible adults.
